New Advanced Search features have been launched.
Users can research sales of a genre like Science Fiction, Action, Drama or Horror between 2005 – 2009. Or which had unit sales above a particular level, or box office about a number of millions. So research is possible of theatrical sales of Horror films that had a revenue of more than 10MM between 2012 – 2014.
‘Big data’ and sales information make the real story visible as never before. Nielsen are proud to be working with ARP on this revolutionary product with sales data which makes the story visible, and lead the research trends with new discoveries.
Unit sales are key ever since the mid 1990s when retail revenue surpassed theatrical revenue for the Studios. The unit sales have never been made available before.
